On July 11, students and staff in the Department of International Studies met for a combined seminar activity. This special activity brought together international students and Japanese students for an evening of fun, learning, and friendship.
Teams and Activities
The students were divided into 5 teams, each with 8 to 10 members. The teams were a mix of international and Japanese students. This was a great way for everyone to make new friends and learn about different cultures.
One of the main activities was building a paper tower. Each team competed to create the tallest structure using only paper. It was amazing to see the creativity and teamwork as the students worked together to build their towers.
In addition to the paper tower competition, there were other fun bonding activities. These activities helped everyone get to know each other better and work as a team. By the end of the day, the traditional “senpai” and “kohai” relationships were dissolved, and everyone was just friends.
Competition and Prizes
Teams competed for points in each activity. The competition was friendly and exciting. At the end of the day, prizes were given to the teams. Everyone cheered for their friends and celebrated together.
A Memorable Experience
The combined seminar activity was a memorable experience for all students. It helped bridge relationships between international and Japanese students, creating a stronger and more united student community.
We look forward to more events like this in the future, where students can come together, learn from each other, and create lasting memories.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event so special!
