On September 24th 2020, NWU held its 26th Graduation Ceremony in honor of the students completing their studies at Nagasaki Wesleyan University. The graduation ceremony honored a total of five graduates from Nepal, Vietnam, and China in the Faculty of Contemporary Social Studies Department of Foreign Languages.

Nagasaki Wesleyan University President Sato gave a commencement speech encouraging graduates to reflect on their studies at Wesleyan and to consider the importance of peace. Certificates and commemorative gifts were presented to the graduating students followed by a speech by a graduating student representative. A heartfelt message was given by our graduating student representative thanking the university staff for their support.

The student spoke about the challenges of completing the graduation thesis and appreciation for the opportunity to complete his studies at Wesleyan. The graduation ceremony closed with the singing of the hymn “God be with you till we meet again”.
