Professor Santos from the Department of Foreign Languages and a University of Baguio exchange student, Melglenn Lonogan, recently had the wonderful opportunity to participate in an enlightening exchange activity. This special event brought them together with adult English language learners from HORST, creating an atmosphere of cross-cultural learning and friendship.

One of the main goals of this activity was to promote communication in English, providing an ideal platform for English language learners to practice their language skills in a relaxed and friendly setting. Engaging in conversations and discussing various topics in English proved to be an effective way for participants to enhance their language proficiency.

Beyond the language aspect, the activity also emphasized the importance of forging new friendships. As learners from different backgrounds came together, they discovered common interests and values that transcended cultural boundaries.

The activity with HORST was held on September 16. There will be another activity held on October 14th from 13:00 to 14:30. Professor Santos and Melglenn expressed that attending the activity emphasized the significance of promoting cultural diversity and global understanding.
